This post was intended for Wednesday, but instead I thought that I would post it today and link up with gussy’s inspiration workshop, as this week’s prompt is Inspiration.
I tend to be inspired by lots of different things, people and places. I love to look at pretty things J and my girls provide me with a daily dose of inspiration… but something that has really inspired me is, taking part in “race for life” which was this past Sunday.
I have some photos to share with you.
The one thing that I couldn’t capture on the photos was, how emotional the whole experience was, this was my first time taking part and I will defiantly be signing up for next year.
It was a 5K walk/jog/run I completed it with my auntie in 50minutes, but for me it wasn’t about being the quickest it was about the taking part.
The event was women only and the dress code was pink J could it get any better?
It is hard to describe how I felt crossing the finish line, but I am very proud of myself for completing and taking part!
The majority of the women who took part had lost a loved one to cancer and each had moving message to share….
So this whole experience has left me moved, grateful and inspired.
