Blogging tips part 2 !!

Blogging tips:

Carrying on from last weeks post (you can catch up here) …

Finding your voice:

Find something you love, a hobby, cooking, motherhood, design ect …. And blog about it! Find a writing style that suits you, a way that reflects your personality.

Don’t try to imitate your favourite blogger, whilst its great to be inspired by them, it’s really important that you be you!! Let people get to know you !

To be honest with you, it took me a while to find my blogging voice. It’s ok to try different things, something’s you will enjoy, others not so much !! Take your time let yourself grow. Knowing your blogs niche will help you find your voice (more on this later)

Finding your voice

Be Yourself:

This is so so so! Important! It’s a lot easier to be you, than trying to be someone else… If your not honest with yourself, your readers will eventually know that your not being you !

Be yourself

Know what topics you want to keep off limits !! We all have bad days…. I have shared my ongoing sleeping issue, I feel comfortable in sharing that with my readers, they may be going through a similar issue, they may have advice they want to share… I wouldn’t blog about any arguments I have with my partner , money I never use any foul language – for me these are off limit topics…

Pictures:

Pictures are a huge! Part of blogging. Pictures often tell the story of the post, they give an insight in your life, your home, your children… They are a great way to contact with your readers. They also keep your post interesting!!

Instagram: is a great way to share photos of your day to day life, without them being attached to a post, another great way to connect with readers ;) .
